Ron Kiddoo

Chairman of the Board, Chief Investment Officer & Investment Advisor

As our Chief Investment Officer, Ron manages portfolios for individuals, corporations, retirement plans (including individual retirement accounts), and foundations. He also assists clients with tax and financial planning. Ron chairs our Investment Committee, the group responsible for determining our overall investment strategy, and works closely with our staff of financial analysts.

A certified public accountant, before joining our firm in 1982 Ron was a managing partner and head of the tax department with a Central Illinois CPA firm.

Ron received both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Illinois. He graduated with highest honors and received the Bronze Tablet for the upper 3% of graduates. He also received the Elijah Watts Sells Award for finishing with one of the top 15 scores on the CPA exam, out of 15,000 candidates. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs.

A dedicated volunteer, Ron has served as president of Champaign Rotary Club, treasurer and campaign chair of the United Way of Champaign County, president of Family Services, and treasurer of the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Ron is also active at Wesley United Methodist Church, having served as Lay Leader, Chairman of the Church Council and Finance and Investment Chair.
