As Chief Executive Officer, Greg Cozad follows in the footsteps of his father, V. Dale Cozad, who incorporated Cozad Asset Management in 1972. Greg charts the overall strategic direction of the company and guides the growth of all its operations, including asset management, investment planning and new business initiatives. To further the financial goals of Cozad clients, he works to discover niche opportunities for investment. He serves high net worth clients in determining asset allocation and investment strategies.
Greg graduated with distinction from Indiana University and went on to receive both Law and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Notre Dame. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Practitioner, Greg is knowledgeable in all aspects of financial management.
Greg has participated in a wide variety of volunteer activities and has served as president of the Stevick Foundation and Chapter Chair of YPO Gold Chicago. In the past he has served on the Champaign City Council, Champaign-Urbana Economic Development Corporation Board and University of Illinois College of Business Dean’s Business Council. Greg has been an avid supporter of Entrepreneurship in the Champaign-Urbana area. He has supported the V. Dale Cozad New Venture Competition at the University of Illinois as well as the Parkland Entrepreneur of the Year program where he has emceed the event for over 12 years. Greg also has been involved with a number of Christian groups and facilitated a Bible Study group for 30 years.
Greg is married and has two children and three granddaughters. In his free time, he is an avid golfer and enjoys exercising, skiing and University of Illinois sports.
