As an Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager for the firm, Brent provides a variety of financial planning, portfolio management and tax preparation services for clients to assist them in achieving their financial goals.
Brent’s work as a portfolio manager involves running a screening process to analyze the universe of mutual funds and ETFs, using both quantitative and qualitative measures.
Brent joined Cozad in September of 2019 shortly after his time spent studying accountancy at the University of Illinois. He graduated with high honors in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. Shortly after, he earned his Master of Accounting Science degree with a concentration in data analytics from the University of Illinois. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Brent lives in Savoy with his wife, Telma. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and supporting Illini athletics.
